I received several requests to share this recipe a couple weeks ago, and decided it was too good not to share. Not only is this is a wonderful decadent treat, but it also leaves you satisfied and feeling good! Paleo/AIP friendly and gluten/dairy free too! Avocado makes this so indulgent and creamy. This is one of my 'superfood' treats, and I'll expand a little more on these key ingredients. Maca has more than a few benefits, it is proven to help elevate mood and decrease mood swings, balance hormone levels, and increase libido. It's low in fat, and high in essential vitamins and minerals, such as iron and vitamin C. Maca has more of an earthy flavor .. think sweet potato-ish. If you aren't fond of it, you could easily omit, and add an extra scoop of collagen peptides. First off.. Happy October! (My favorite month!)  A few months ago, I decided I wanted to start studying and learn about alternative medicine, natural therapies, and healing foods. This sparked my interest to learn more about dieting and whole foods. I started eating better, and taking better care of my body. Since I've been doing so, I've been feeling amazing, sleeping better.. mentally feeling better everyday, and my skin has never looked so good before. In turn, this sparked my creativity, thinking that I could write about interesting things I'm learning, and sharing my healthy recipes here. Honestly though, dieting is something I've struggled with, like most people.
